89' Mazda B2200 with a 300HP V8 !!! - Click HERE for Original Thread

Gordon
I'm selling my toy that I built by hand!

It's a 1989 Mazda B2200 1/4 ton truck, extended cab, long box with liner.
The interior has been changed to grey/black from a 90 mazda truck.
The motor is a built 267 cu/in small block chevy with corvette heads, intake, carb and valve covers. The crank is from Scat as are the rods. The cam is a 300hp chevy cam from the 70's engines.

The exhaust is custom from the manifold back to a pair of 2 1/4" red cherry bomb mufflers... it sounds great!

WINDSHIELD IS MINT!!

The transmission is a turbo 350 from a 1969 Camaro that has been fully rebuilt with a stage 2 shift kit which is controlled by a chrom B&M ratchet shifter.

Comes with a MP3 player, 6x9's in the back, 4" 2 ways in the dash and 2 JBL dual voice coil 10" subwoofers.

The stereo is pretty loud but needs a new antenna to pickup radio (carwash snapped it off).

THIS TRUCK HAULS BUTT!

I'd be happy to take the buyer for a ride but NO ONE drives it but me till I have cash in my hand and you own it!!

I have lots of pics if you require more.

Located in Spruce Grove.

$2500

stock rear end?

Gordon
As of right now yes it's a stock rear end.

I have a rear end from an Astro van but I just haven't had a chance to put it in yet.

The axle can go with the truck if you want it.

tonka-turbo

Gordon
Thanks man, it was a fun swap to do. I'd give it a 7/10 on the difficulty scale though. If I had to do it again i'd use a ford motor with a front sump oil pan to save on the mods needed.

Took almost 3 months and 1400 hrs to get it this far.

This is what the truck looked like when i bought it...

T-LAV MRV
ok, different truck, the flat black and the duraliner made it look like my old b that i sold a while back. Very nicely done.

The Daver
Do you have any proof of 300 hp? I have a buddy thats fairly interested but in all honesty he isnt gonna buy a truck he cant test drive first.

Gordon
I'm more then willing to take someone out for a drive and show em... I'm just not willing to risk someone wrecking it possibly.

The HP rating is based on the guy who built the engine.

I do know that "The Block Shop" did the machining on the block and shaved the heads.

I can gaurantee it is fun as hell to drive and has beaten a few Mustang GT's and a couple Corvettes here in town.

Either way the auction ends tomorrow so if your friend wants it he should act fast.

The Daver
ok Ill pass word do you know if it would pass inspection??

Gordon
I can't see why it wouldn't.

The windshield is mint, brakes were just replaced, parking brake works, all the lights work, wipers work, tires are good, alignment is straight, etc.

I can always write an inspection to go with it :D

Gordon
Price drop to $2000 FIRM --- Don't ask me to drop it... the motor is worth the price alone.
