I'm going to be getting an OOP for my prelude and the only thing that worries me is that my day time running lights are not working. I am sure that I need them to pass. Where can I go to get them working? I have aftermarket headlights too.

DRL is part of the OEM lighting system, so the aftermarket headlights dont make a difference as long as their DOT approved. chances are its the DRL module that needs to be replaced.

i dont think you have much to worry about though since they usually only crack down on the JDM cars that come in and dont have DRL systems from the factory. worst case, if you fail, you can always wire it so your headlights are on all the time.

They are Depo and they are DOT. I was thinking the relay as 2ndgenlude's weren't working and he got a new relay then they worked. How much is a relay? How do you test to see if it's a bad relay?

newaccorddriver
try and borrow someone elses relay and see if thats your problem before you go out and buy one. im not sure if you can test the relay, but swapping parts is probably easier anyways

NightmareMX6
Ya I'll try that.
