all right guys. last friday was a joke. unorganized, and people were everywhere.partly my fault. communication on my part was poor. anyways lets get everyone out this friday. 9pm air museum. if everything goes to plan i will have my car back from AFI with the 400whp tune. it is booked in for wednesday to put some big numbers up.i have my fingers crossed. and you bet i will have it out if thats the case. see if i can break tires loose in 3rd :)
afterwards we can decide what to do. either peelers, since that was the plan last weekend, food, uc, or even just hanging out at a regular bar. whatever. If your going to make it out add your name to the list. Hopefully it can be our first real big meet of the year. I will have whatever decals i have left and a few business cards.

lude did not sell to the sask guy. he had no clue about preludes and neither did his dad....anyway, i might insure the car for the night to have another cruise night. Someone else is coming to see it on sat from grand prairie and mid week next week someone from calgary is coming down to look at it.
I am going to UC once again though. |

They think that they can find an even cleaner lude for much less.....:lol::lol::lol:
Apparently, replacing 1 vacuum hose, machining the rotors, recharging the a/c, and putting one screw in the interior is not the best condition.....(1 screw is missing from part of the steering column) Ohhhh and the little dot of rust is to much to handle.
They also did not like the fact that when you go over huge bumps/cracks the exhaust sometimes bounces against the chasis and makes a noise.... |

| hmmm. unless you replace that screw maybe it should go down to $3500. I would take it and hopefully be able to find a screw after a great deal of searching. |

I told the guy to open it up and rev it too 7500rpm so he could feel the car. he was with his dad so i understood why he wouldn't but when we came to an area with a limit of 110km you think he would open it up first through second....nope, never went over 3k..... |

thats weird. if i was on a on ramp or hwy or somethign and i was test driving a car, a full throttle pull would be necessary. |

yeah i know there are write ups, i was planning on doing it in a few years when i get out of school, the way things look now tho i'm not sure when i'll be done, which sucks, so as long as i have the money i might just do it now, depending on how stuff works out
my ultimate plan was build the engine, forged internals and whatnot and then turbo, but that obviously costs a lot more to do, then big brakes, ksport coilovers, you know, build a hot, fast, sleeper, who knows what'll happen now, i still have my hopes tho |

darcy commented on your car. reminded him of my old 2nd gen haha. the best meets i ever went to were in that old car :) very good meet guys. im impressed. if we could do that every 2nd week or so, it would be awesome. 9 cars total at the museum, then adam joined up so technically 10 cars were out. thats the best meet we have had in the last year or two. also nice to see cory out. while you were following me all i could hear was turbo spool. kept a smile on my face the whole time haha. nice car :thumbup:

| I ripped back to the fort and tried to make it back but ended up with a speeding and tint ticket. only 17 over though lol. I did manage to find out that red 4th gen at the meet is from the fort. He lives in the same building as my buddy. If theres any cards made let me know. And there is nothing wrong with a few trucks showing up at the meet. nobody wants to see the white beast at the meets yet lol |

thanks guys, all it took was this little rusty thing to fall in love with 3rd gens, the only thing wrong with it is the body, all the options still work, EVERYTHING (except the AC and i think it just needs to be recharged) my brother in law said once that rust is a good thing to have on a car, reduces it buying price but not it's worth, says nothing about how the car drives or anything
hopefully i'll have a clean h22 swapped 3rd gen in not too long, *crosses fingers*
oh, who was Cory? if he has a turbo lude i wouldn't mind seeing under the hood and hearing about it |

I got a bull shit ticked for 18 over and my over sized exaust tip. He was trying to nail me for underglow and i was like I dont have underglow so then he asked to see my windows, which are obviously legal. He was just trying to be a fuck head. I'll be fighting it in court. |
