filling holes on a car - Click HERE for Original Thread

i just took off my spoiler, and there are 4 holes on each side, (3 from oem spoiler and another one from tpe r)

k anywayz, ive never done this before, so any suggestions?
how muchd it cost?

looking for an experienced welder who can nicely weld my holes on a trunk lid.

usually you throw a piece of metal in the hole and weld around it.. then grind it all down, and smooth it out..

You can use metal filler as well. Then just use a glazing putty on top and sand it down nicely and repaint.

You can put fiberglass on the backside of the holes (if they're accessible), then put bondo/filler etc.

I would definately stay away from using fibreglass.

Whats this metal filler you speak of, i gotta do it to the trunk lid of the 240

Fiberglass and steel body panels have different rates of expansion when heated and cooled.
