The Coast to Coast Am late night radio talk show, hosted nowadays by George Noory, often lends a sympathetic ear to those with a bizarre tale to tell or folks making outlandish claims. After being deluged with calls and emails to the show asking about assertions made of increasing gas mileage using kits such as those sold by Water4gas, (they claim to break water down into HHO and burn it along with your gasoline) George decided to try a "real life" experiment to see if it actually worked. With his producer's car.
It took some time for the results to come in but last night, after an update on the latest in alien implants, producer Tom Danheiser came on the air to let the audience of millions hear the result. Before installing the device under the hood of his Mustang, Danheiser calculated his gas mileage to be 17.99 mpg. After driving around with the device for a week his mileage went down to 16.56 mpg. To add insult to HHO hoax injury, he had to have his car serviced. Twice. The bottom line can be summed up with a pair of truisms; there is no free lunch and the laws of physics just aren't made to be broken.
BAAAAaaHAHAHAHHAHAAAH! |

Ummm he did not add water to his tank of gas he was using an hydrogen kit, it make's hydrogen and it is then added into the air intake, kinda like you would with a NOS bottle and tube running to the air filter.
It does work but it's not being used in the right way and most of that is cause of the computer in every car is made to measure hydrocarbons/Gasoline emission's and as it read's the mix is thinner it add's more fuel hence the mileage goes down.
If engines were made with better metals and or just simply had the sensors to measure and adjust for the fuel type a person could get there car off of gasoline, now flex fuel cars can run on E85/alcohol and adjsut the timing and fuel rate but i don't think they get any more distance than normal.
If you setup a car to run off of M/race gas and the compression is higher than stock you could get over 22% increase in mileage and unlike gas hydrocarbon's it won't leave any buildup or residue.
The model A,T fords were duel fuel and that was cause there was no gas stations and every farmer had his own distillery to make alcohols with and since fuel grade booze can be made outta scrap waste from the farm it worked out.
If you can get into the computer's maping you should be able to run hydrogen or alcohol and see a big increase, but making your own disterlery to produce fuel might bring back proabition jsut like the (Standard oil company) did. |

Next time, instead of going into a 30 page thread about if something retarded like this is going to work in a 100% stock car.. we just post this picture.

I'm curious, what better materials do you feel manufacturers should be using? |

| There is a huge difference between running on an alcohol because you don't have gasoline around, and running a malarkey HHO kit. |

WRONG, you louse fuel milage on meth or e85, but its better for the envroment |
