Boost Leak Tester Material - Click HERE for Original Thread

john.tempest
Hey Guys,
I need to do a boost leak test on my eagle talon. I have an upgraded turbo, so the inlet for the turbo is 2.5" and I need a piece of hose that big. WHERE DO I GET ONE?!?!? I have phoned parts source, a GM Dealer, and Napa, and alot of other places and nobody has a hose that big. Any suggestions? Anybody have one I can borrow for a little while?
Thanks

Go to home depot and look in the plumbing section

Or just go to Mopac and buy a $10 Vibrant coupler. Hell, maybe even try a hose place like Greenline, they might just give you a piece that short.

Oh and your upgraded turbo has a 2.5" inlet?

i have a bunch of leftover 2.5" couplers i would sell for $5 each. have maybe 6-10

Build something like this:

As for the coupler, use a 2.5" rubber hose. I have some scrap pieces of 2.5" rubber hose with clamps if you need.
