| Aren't cars without signal lights illegal? I thought so too until I ran into this Silver Mitsubishi Lancer from Southside Mitsubishi pass me heading north on St. Albert Trail & continuing through to St. Albert Rd. If your signal lights aren't working I suggest you do not drive faster than the limit & cut off every car in your path. Learn to drive & save it for the track. By the way, I was the fellow in the Silver MR2 who was trying to show you how signal lights work. Thank you. |

| I find that the more expensive the car, less likely the chance of the signals work... Or maybe it's the driver? |

If signals dont work, Hand signals do.
Just one more idiot who needs his car impounded and crushed. |

| lol one of the trucks i use to deliver on, the signal is messed up. The signal would for some reason just go solid amber and not flash at all. So what i would do is manually flick it on and off as i go. |

My work's Hino does that now, didn't do it before. Wonder why that happens? Must be something electrical. |

It could be because it's a Hino. |

Could be that the flasher relay is burned out, or you have a dead bulb.
Yesterday a pretty baffling thing happened. I was driving west on 137ave across Fort Rd. and about 5 cars in front of me a woman pulls out of the turning corner deal right in front of the car. Luckily the car that was cut off had a driver that was paying attention and they managed to narrowly avoid this person. Then the vehicle that had pulled out just kept going right across the next lane as well, nearly side-swiping the car in that lane.
This car, actually it was a Jeep Grand Cherokee, pulled into the next left turn lane and stopped at a red light. I pulled up beside the Jeep and it was some woman in her 20s on her phone, completely oblivious to the fact that she'd nearly caused a 10-car pileup. As I drove up towards her about four or five people were hanging their arms out the window to give her the finger.
Oh yeah, and she never used her signals at all. Not like that would have made it any better. |

So do I, but then I would end up scratching my truck. |

Same problem with high end BMWs and Audis... I think there is an electrical problem between the steering wheel and the seat. |

Hey I should start doing that.... little more safer than hanging out of the vehicle onto the shoulder giving the stupid fuckers that pass on the shoulder just to turn up ahead the bloody finger! |

i don't think anything annoys me more than people who don't signal, a close second is people who don't change burnt out lights, when the guy ahead of you looks like he's turning, but it turns out the only light that still works in the back is a left brake light and he's not sure whether he wants to slow down or not (tapping his brakes), very annoying
all my lights work and i signal all the time, is it hard? no, in fact it's totally automatic now, takes no effort at all
here's an idea, everyone, next time you get into your car, make sure ALL your lights work, brakes are kind of hard by yourself, just face away from some glass and watch the relection, and then, even more importantly, CHANGE ANY BURNT OUT ONES IMMEDIATELY!!!
my $.02

make fun if you want but i seriously see far far too many cars with either burnt out lights, or people who refuse to use them
i think if you make fun of this idea you probably never use your signal lights if they even work |

90% of the time I use my signals.
The other 10% of the time is when I am on the highway or merging. Depending on the vehicles I am merging into will dictate if I use my signals or not
9 times out of 10 if I signal while I am merging , it gives an opportunity for people to close the gap and not let you merge.
A lot of Edmonton drivers are retards and I am not going to give them the opportunity to close the gap while I merge. |

i didn't think there was anything wrong with your comment, that was just funny
yes, far too many people don't use them, i almost hit someone last year because he didn't use his, had to swerve into oncoming traffic to avoid him and almost caused a huge accident because of it, not even sure if he noticed either |

Brown Toyota Highlander on Yellowhead just after 11am today endangering everyone's lives. Driving too fast, not signalling, cutting everyone off, changing lanes in the middle of the intersection... the list goes on.
I hope you start endangering your life & only yours just as much as you have everyone else's on your little Yellowhead "jaunt" so that we will be rid of you from this world as soon as possible. I hope you have a great rest of your day. |
