This will be a general review of speedtech and my dealings with them.
I had previously bought a few minor things from them including hondata, but all those times the items were in stock already and so it was an in out sort of deal.
Spoke with Verlen at speedtech as I had been quoted a price from speedtech calgary on an engine and hasport mounts and verlen said he would do the same pricing.
Went in that day and put a 1000.00$ deposit, got my receipt, and was told 2-3 weeks
Spoke with speedtech on numerous occasions after this discussed getting axles, and told him I wanted to as well, but this was at the time when their computer was dead and I don’t think it was ever recorded as I never did get the axles.
Left a message with Verlen on 780tuners.com on July 23rd just asking him to call me as soon as he had a good idea of when it would be here, he called me 30 minutes later telling me it had arrived today to my surprise!
Went in on the 24th during the day, paid the rest of what I owed, waited around a bit, and left a please customer.
Overall I was pleased with my dealings with Speedtech Edmonton Verlen was pleasant to deal with, the atmosphere is nice and is becoming of a shop. Although I was disappointed I had asked about the axles on more than one occasion and asked if they had been ordered and was told they would be or were already but that could have been a miscommunication on my part or a misunderstanding which is no big deal.
Quality of merchandise: 9/10, a few sensors were busted, all in all not their fault but still.
Service: 8/10, miscommunication about axles and given a few times things had been shipped when they hadn’t but with the amount of business they have that’s understandable.
Time: 9/10 Was quoted 2-3 weeks, ordered parts on a Thursday got the parts 3 weeks after.
Overall 8/10 |
