I finnally start going out with this girl that i have wanted to go out with for quite a while and everything is great, then one day she decided that she was going to tell her mom because i guess they were talking and her mom said she liked me (met her when we were just friends) well her mom said no way and if you do it behind my back i will basicaaly disown you (and she would i think)
now the reason for this is because she is from a culture like greeks who only like it when you go out with someone else from the same background( :wtf: is what i have to say to that) but the thing is from the start i was told that her mom would be ok with casue her mom wanted her to go out with someone who wasn't....... ii have no idea...
oh well my question is shoud i just give up (really don't want to)
or try to do something and if i should plz tell me something i could do..
i don't want to ask her to go against her mom and even if i did i doubt that she would :(

it all depends on your age.
If this is marriage potential, then I say give it a really good shot but if her mom doesn't change her mind very soon & with extreme ease....this will affect her, you and your relationship with your gf/fiancee/wife for the rest your lives.
If this is just a boyfriend/girlfriend/nothing serious like marriage....do what you want but ultimately it will not work out in the end.

when you heard that her mom would be o.k with the situation obviosley that came from the girls mouth and NOT the mothers. I'm sure she's a nice girl but she probobly just wanted to soften the blow so things would still keep going on.
Maybe to find out the truth is to have a good talk with the mother and let her know how you truley feel about her daughter, and maybe things will change for the better.

Yeah right now the uofa cares about money and only money they figure if they are haveing some smallass problem with one person they will just go on to the next person willing to pay no skin off their backs..... it is really sad when that because true but i guess what can you do besides get pissed off lol
Oh well thanks for the input on my problem i think that i have decieded but i am still really not sure i thik i will talk with her and see what she thiks about a few things and go from there |

yeah i already gave up not worth it oh well
and as for the "friends with benefits" yeah it seems she wont even talk to me right now so oh well what can you do :angry:
