been doing some research but little information is around.
i was wondering when the 94 mr2's would be availble. what changes were made from 91/93 to 94+. difference between GT and GTS model. what OOP changes are needed usually to comply. and finally estimated price of one landed and in edmonton.

The MR2's changed in October of 1993 and average price depends on where we get it from.
In auction a clean example can be had for 6.5-8K fully imported to Edmonton depending on a few things. If we get it from a dealer or Yahoo auctions, closer to 8-10K fully imported to Edmonton.
Some can be had cheaper than that, but you would have to sacrifice higher kilometres or overall condition.
Compliance on the MR2's is simple:
- Daytime running lights ( $50.00 or so )
- Headlights ( $20.00 - $40.00 )
The rest is pretty well good to go for these. Toyota's are by far the easiest cars to get through Alberta OOP.
That's really about it for the compliance. Also any mechanical repairs, maintenance you need to do to the car to make it road worthy.

| I've seen a handful of early 94's GT T Tops, and I am almost certain a few in late 93 as well. Send me an email and I'll show you a few that are on the market right now. |
