Hey so my girlfriend moved to the uk last year for school, i was calling her from my cell which was about 35 cents a minute, i tried a calling card but it was 32 cents a minute and horrible quality. tired of high phone bills. anyone have any ideas?
i have been looking into some sort of call forwarding service where i can call a local number and it forwards it to her cell but haven't found anything concrete.
she has dial up so skype is out of the question
it's going from my cell to her cell so no landlines |

If she has dialup internet service, does that not mean she has a landline?
If she has a landline, you can call her landline in the UK from Skype for 2.1 cents a minute. She doesn't have to have Skype on her end, she just answers her landline phone like regular. |

I have been using www.voipraider.com
It might be free to certain places in the UK with it.
For me it was a bit more expensive than the calling cards, but the quality has been awesome, well worth the price.
It is kinda like skype, you have to download it to initially sign up. But I just use the phone-phone service, that you find on their website. |
