Unless you end up buying a mattress used for 59 days to film midget bestiality porn and then returned.. that would be kind of shitty.

Only advice I have is, don't be cheap. Buy the most expensive mattress you can afford. You will thank yourself later.

Awesome, can you recommend any types of mattress's?

If that's the case, I would suggest just going in and laying on a couple. There are a lot of nice mattress out there nowadays, with memory foam tops, etc, etc.

If you go to somewhere like Mattress Mattress or Sleep Country, you can be pretty confident that the sales associate will know what they are talking about and should be able to point you in the right direction.

You said you wanted something to help your back, for that I recommend latex or tempurpedic. Its a lot more pricey though, the mattresses start at 2299 for mattress and boxspring in a queen size. The advantage with them though is that they last for roughly 20 years (3-4 times a long as a standard mattress) and they come with a 15-20 year warranty to back them.

As far as a cheaper idea, I personally would recommend something with a pocketcoil (Start at $899 in a queen mattress/boxspring set) in a firm top. Really though just come in and see us. We are a family business (I'm not officially family, its my girlfriends dad) and they have been selling beds for 20+ years. They will set you up with something that will help your back. If it feels good when you spend 5-10 minutes on it in the store then it will feel good when you sleep on it. Just make sure when you try them out lay on it in the same position you sleep in and spend atleast 5 minutes on it. Dont be like some people and jump on it then jump back off.

Good mattress = best money I've ever spent.

Three years later, I still don't take it for granted.

Same with me man. When I spent the cash 2 years ago...I was like "Damn, I could have bought a new motor for that price..." But I'm STILL happy I spent the extra cash. Best investment ever.

Don't buy the ones that are laying in alleyways around the inner city. People don't use those for some reason.

Speak for yourself.

Im serious Karl, posture is very important to those folks, they arent going to tolerate a shitty mattress so they throw it out and pee on.
