Are there never exceptions to this? Say some ass pulls out right in front of you while you're doing 110km/h down the highway, oncoming traffic and big ditches. You have nowhere to go so you plow into the back of them, still your fault?

unless you've got a whack load of witnesses and can prove that they were driving recklessly......... it's your fault.
same for turning left and getting hit, even if the stupid fock went through a red you need a lot of witnesses. |

Exactly.
It ups up being that if it's your word vs his, chances are they'll take his word since it's most likely your fault (Since you plowed through him).
Same thing with left's at a red light. It's better to wait than take a chance, because at best you get a 50-50 usually. |
