| i'm sure all of you have seen them on 66st and yellowhead... there is like 6 eclipses there.... i had a look today and the guy said he's just buying them from the states and selling them here.... i noticed that alot of the bodypanels have been replaced, and all of them have semi new shitty paint jobs.... chopshop.. hrmmm |

| I went there to check them out, those guys don't know shit! They couldn't answer any of my questions about the cars. There was/is a nice red GSX there though, a few mods, hood wouldn't open though :thumbsdown: I would check all the vin numbers and do a carfax report if I were to buy from them, which I wouldn't. |

| I remember seeing those guys at Powerama or something. They seemed pretty shady at the time, and the guy was like a used car salesman to the extreme. I've never seen somebody try to sell something so hard. :D |

Really? He was perfectly nice to me and my friend while we were asking questions. Not too pushy or anything.
But yes - the one I looked at closely was definetely in an accident.
Then again, it only costs $50 to get the frame inspected and shit and would be worth it since their prices are on the low side.... |

| a Friend of mine just bought a eclipse from that dealer. She got the car all checked out and whatnot, and apparently its a pretty solid car. very low kms also (about 70k for a '97) |

| One of the rag tops from that spot came into the shop and I am unsure how it passed a safety inspection after it truely needed about 1k worth of front end work. Only 4 days after an inspection, however the new owner didnt care he just loved the car. |

| I ran into some dude in a red 2g GST on highway 16 coming back from spruce grove the other day. He gave me a rev when I was driving next to him and then I pulled a bit of a ricer flyby, I mashed it and quickly sped up to 130-140 and slowed back down, and then he didn't want to play :( I sure wouldn't mind a black GSX though, even if they do have crankwalk issues. |

today i found the same car in the canadatrader being sold privately with these guy's names. it was sold to the dealership two days ago. i'm trying to determine if it was imported by the people who display cars on yellowhead. |

i think the owner of all the eclipses has a maroon/red one thats a 97 turbo gsx....i'm not positive but he was asking 22,000. i was talking with him about it at clairview cineplexodeon. i have his card if you want to call him. |

where is the VIN located on eclipses? is it visable on the dash thru the window?
the dealer won't give it to me for some reason.. keep saying 'oh i'll have someone phone you with it later' after asking me over and over what i would need it for (like its a secret). |

| I'm really gearing towards a 99. I read on some DSM forum, that the crankwalk issue was supposedly dealt with in this year. Rumour? I'm not 100% sure, but I'm still gunning for a 99. |
