Hey guys...where's the best place to go to get a window tint, and about how much will it cost to get the back 3 windows done?
I've heard European is excellent, and it's $159 for the back windows...

Ya, search the forum... I'm not sure where the threads are but there have been some lenghty discussions about this... .
Although I've heard awesome things about European Autotint (by weber motors I believe)... and Malcolm's tint.... |

Ziebart advertises $149 for 3 windows. I went in there and the guy says $149. So I got it done and then a different guy says $189! WTF!!!
"Oh, $149 is only for certain pickup trucks. Didn't (the first guy I dealt with) tell you that?"
"No, he told me $149". The first guy was now conveniently gone from the shop, by the way.
"Oh, no sir, he couldn't have told you that. All cars start at $169 for 3 window tints, see? And your car is a hatchback with a big back window, so it's $189" and he shows me a chart that he pulls up from beneath the counter, that I hadn't been shown before.
So, we argued some more, and I finally got sick of it, and agreed to pay $169, just so I could get my car the hell out of there.
So, watch for the bait and switch type techniques at Ziebart on the south side.... |
