I know this is the wrong forum and I don't want to be a sh!t disturber, but why have the vendor ads been getting locked now? I read the rules and I am sure this must be a change with the new ownership etc. The sticky at the top of the marketplace forum still states.
"V8less supports all vendors who would like to advertise specials and promo's to V8less Members can do so here. There are no restictions to vendor ads so long as they benefit the community.
This is a great way to:
- promote vendor groupbuys
- promote new products
- promote sales and services

The way I interpret this is that any vendor may post specials etc. as long as it benifits the community. Maybye the word "vendor" applies only to paying sponsors but it is not made clear in that post. Just thought I would bring this to attention so it may be changed if need be. Feel free to lock this post. ;) |

The admin have cleared this up with the moderators.
If you haven't noticed or concluded, this isn't V8Less anymore, this is 780Tuners.
V8Less rules don't apply anymore so that will be changed. :)

So the way I interupt this is that as long as I or any other member here that has a vested interest in a product, we cannot post a comment about that item? By that I mean, something to the lines of: "Hey I sell that" or "Click here for pricing"? Right?? Basically, if "We" behave ourselves, we can post. Therefore, no more "specials" etc that were aceptable on the "old" forum. |

I'm not following you on that point...so let me see if I'm able to clear it up:
If you are a commercial company that sells for profit and are NOT a sponsor of 780Tuners, you cannot post your sales or what you sell on the forums.
As an individual you can comment on a product all you like; "This is a good deal."
You CANNOT hijack someone else's for sale thread by saying you have/sell the same thing for a lower/better price. If you have better pricing and are an individual/sponsoring company, you will start a new thread. |
