Sam, can you give me a ECA 101, things I'd liek to know...
1. Where to buy the E/C/A, especially the E, and what mix
2. How often should I use it on a CKD? I do a 1.5 day carb load starting Sat Morning.
3. Should I have it with meals or without
3. I use Whey protein (about 70grams a day) and 35 grams of Creatine on the carb load days. I was planning on using the ECA on Low carb days only (M-F) |

Also, is A required or is EC enough?
I read about some side effects of A. |

hehehe... sounds like you're on a mission to get lean mark.
anyways...
1. ephedrine can be bought at popeye's, muscle beach etc. dosages can be found in the creatine post part way down.
2. same as number 1. directions for usage are also in the creatine post. (2 weeks on 2 weeks off.)
3. i like to have mine with meals (if possible) cause i used to get stomach aches from it. not anymore though but just out of habit i have it with meals. unless i'm doing my cardio in the morning. then i use it on and empty stomach.
3. (the second one number 3.) caffeine makes your creatine useless so you might want to skip your creatine when using eca. and are you sure you're using 35g of creatine??? do you mean 3.5g?? last i remember 5g per day was sufficient. haven't used it in about 6 years though. unless you're doing the loading b.s. people push for creatine users. as you can see the loading thing is just that... b.s. skip it. if you use creatine... all you need 5g per day.
and on the a use... yes, use it... all three act together synergistically like i mentioned before. don't worry about the side effects you hear about. all that stuff falls into the same category as people saying "NAWS" will blow your motor! |

I've been loading up on Creatine on the weekend as per Lyle MacDonald's CKD diet, so I dont get enough High GI carbs during the week to make Creatine useful during the low carb days. So on Saturday I had about 15 grams and about 10 on Sunday. He actually recomends 40 grams in 2 days. I have my creatine with Powerade. It's my protein that I have with Caffeine (I've switched to warm water to avoid any chance of de-naturing the protein)
I'll try the ECA stack for two weeks during low carb days, with meals. I'll post my experience here.

| taking that much creatine in one day doesn't do anything. you will just urinate it out. might as well be throwing money down the drain. all the talk about creatine loading came about when creatine use was flooding the markets years back. your body can only use about 5g per day. anymore and the results will be similar to something like water soluable vitamins. they too get flushed down the toilet when taking too much. the low carb diet that you are trying does not mean no carbs. you need carbs after your workout so take your creatine with that meal/supplement. avoid creatine mixed with acidic juices like orange etc. the caffeine and it's counter productive effects on creatine last throughout most of the day since the eca stack is taking several times in one day. keep all these things in mind and try to work around the obstacles as best you can. you will no doubt have some since creatine and eca are used for two different purposes. eca for losing fat and looking lean. creatine for bulking. when i start my diet next month i'll be using eca and glutamine. i think this is what you should be doing as well. skip the creatine. good luck mark. |

I got the creatine free from a buddy so I'm giving it a shot. quite honestly I can't tell the difference. but I thought I'd give it a shot as per CKD supplementation. What is Glutamine anyways?
It's mentioned int he CKD diet also, but I'm not sure of its use... |

and i thought i had a bad memory. hahaha. glutamine... answer is same as above. see answers to number 1 and 2. lol.
not all creatine is created equally. the more pure it is the more easily it will dissolve. but then again... like i posted somewhere else a long time ago... i tried it before... the "good" stuff... and i still saw no diff. so that's why it's been so long since i've used it again. |

That or I just don't pay attention to what you write
I got my Ephedrine and Caffeine today. I think I'll start it on my next low carb cycle. The big guy at Muscle beach said they're banning the Emphadrine except by presrciption, any truth to this?
I'll run with the creatine until I'm out of the free bottle I have, then I'll try Glutamine.
BTW, when I work out I look a lot more buff, an hour later I feel flabby again. Any way to maintain the buff look or is it just the mirror ar the gym and I'm not any more bigger? |

vitamin b-complex will help a little with keeping the "pump". b-complex increases red blood cell count making your muscles "fuller".
as for the banning of ephedrine... i suppose maybe one day it will be true. but for the last 6-7 years the supplement stores have been saying this.
btw... how much did you get each for? i ran out. haven't had to buy it for years. which one did you go to? west? north? |

Hmm, I'll look into this Vitamin B thing. I was told creatine was supposed to have the same effect but noticeable yet.
The Ephedrine cost $11 for 100 pills. He also mentioned a Ephedrine with a Mucus inhibitor, that was $20 but came with 150 pills. |

creatine has a similar effect in that it makes your muscles look fuller but that is from water retention. not an increase in rbc.
the ephedrine is decently priced. mucus inhibitor? that's interesting. lol. probably another gimmick out on the market.
ephedrine is a bronchidis (sp?) medicine. sometimes when i have a cold i pop a couple and it allows me to breath with ease. lol. and now that you mention this mucus inhibitor... i think it cures my runny nose too?? lol! coincidence i don't know. but my first guess is that it's a gimmick. |
