94 SRV Exaust - Click HERE for Original Thread

Hey all,

Ok, I've been hearing a lot of different stuff from different people, so I figured I could get some good info here from people that have there exaust done.

Namely, what did you do, did you keeop yuor stock cat, did you get a high flow CAT, what kind of muffler??? How thick did you make your exaust tubing, 2 inches, bigger? smaller? Any thing els ethat is relevant that my ignorance has failed to mention?

I'm looking for nice sound when i';m in vtec, but pretty stealthy otherwise.

Any help would rock my world!

why not just go with a catback from a reputable company? I'm going to be running a GReddy Evo this spring. they are pricey but well worth it in my opinion. other good quality exhaust include RS-R, fujitsubo($$), tanabe, apexi, thermal R&D. most of these catbacks are in the $400 - 600 US which puts them upwards of $800 CDN. i have a hookup at a local shop that will probably be able to bring in my catback for ~800 CDN. If you are interested maybe we could go together for a group buy and try to get better pricing. good luck with your decision and let me know how it goes.

as far as diameter of piping goes... the greddy evo uses 60-70 mm piping which corresponds to 2.4 - 2.75 inches

I've been talking to Blain at Pro Drag, installed I'm prob lookin at 800 and thats everything from the header back (not the header, just off the header) thats with either a high flow resonator or a high flow CAT.

How does that sound? As for the brans names of everything I'll have to get back to you on that.

I can vouch for the GReddy Evo. Awesome cat back system. Quiet at cruising rpm's but it howls once the vtec pops ( a nice deep tone ). I can't wait to hear how it sounds with my GReddy header ( which will be here within the next 2 weeks ). As for the gains, I can feel a difference in the mid and high rpms.

I've heard rumours that GReddy is discontinuing the Evo. Can anyone vouch for this?

hey lude_boy... did you have any problems with the evo rusting?? if they are discontinued then i better order mine quick.

oops double post

Well, I've had the Evo installed for about 3 months now, drive the car maybe 3 times a week at the most, garage parked and no salt from the roads has touched it yet, so I don't know how accurate an answer I can give you, but NO, no rust at all!!!

Yeah Dan, you better giddy up and order the exhaust, but be prepared to wait!! I've been waiting 2 months now for my header!!! They have got to be the slowest, most unorganized performance company out there<----------or they have a shit load of orders they can't keep up with.

But that being said, do yourself a favour and order yourself one. It should run you about $1000 shipped, but worth it IMO.
