Honestly the only "real" fast honda is the mid 12 second black prelude in calgary, and the pro-drags civic that runs anywhere from 12's to 16's in the same day, yet its a full race car. |

I have Edmontons fastest honda, My lawnmower has V-Tec and will cut circles around any honda. The power to weight ratio is key, Lawnmower =50lbs, Horsepower =5hp. 10:1

| civics need to be compleatly stripped to be fast due to there torque ... or lack there of.. :D .... nothing tuches dodge power. like leons . or my omni . i ran a 14.2 @ a 102 . with full tank of gas and a full interior . and a 14.3 @101 with a sub box added . B) . granted 14.2 is no screaming hell , but damn fun . and i never got taken down buy no honda on the street . :rolleyes: |

The other thing though is, if you've got the fastest street driven civic in Edmonton, shouldn't we define street driven (and no that isn't street raced). You can not legally used nitrous on the streets so being juiced shouldn't count, and I've seen Duane driving his h22 civic on the street w/ his drag radials on so those can count, and having a stripped interior doesn't make a difference for street use since at least one of the above drives a stripped civic daily.

-Stripped, yes or no

-Nitrous, no since it's illegal on the streets?!

That depends on the day.... I've gone cruisin w/ Rich and he's using his A032R's, no one said a daily driver had to have the same rims/tires on it daily, but as long as they're used on the street.... It's the same as Duane using his drag radials on the street, they've been driven as reg. tires, but aren't on daily... |

This doesn't mean "fastest on the track in street trim" or "fastest on the track in the way it's driven on the street even though it's not street legal".
Phat has the number I believe, but didn't the black midtown CRX pull a 13.0 at JB's numero uno? If so, I think that'd be the fastest. |

K,couple of months ago i saw phats civic and this black rx7 turbo2. So an eg6 vs. fc3s on 107ave .The black Rx7 did not have a chance.Phats civic was carrying 3 people already.
The moral of dis story is it was on full interior, 17 inch rims , 3 people and a loud stereo system? Absolutely phat civic is d fastest street driven civic in edmonton.

Nice post so far. Just to clear it up.....
I never run my slicks on the street...just my A520's. I sometimes ride the car with slicks on to the track but that's it. My time at the track was 14.2 all motor on MT ET drag slicks (full interior). Hoping to do better at SCC II. Is there going to be a good turn out for the all motor trophy????

Not recalling an exact #, I do remember that black crx from midtown doing something crazy like a 13.0-13.4, I consider that very respecatable times....
I've also seen a couple of the midtown cars broken down on the side of the highway coming home after street legals... |
