"The video is real, just not accurate on the speed. He goes through all 6 gears setting the bike down in the beginning of fourth. I would say he has the bike geared quite a bit (different sprockets) to make the bike quicker. He lost some top end for sure, I would say he topped out at about 160 or so, I have had my 99 ZX9 to about 175 so it looks to be about right for that speed. His speedometer is just not calibrated right for his gearing. If you look at the video he pulls another 12 to 13 hundred RPM's in 6th gear after he bottoms out the speedo at 220, that means he would have been doing atleast 250 and there is now way in hell, most likely about a hundred mph slower than that. I would say there is no turbo on it either, it would have got to 150 to 160 faster than that. Never the less still a cool video.

If this is the one i think it is.. I think that doods reasoning is flawed.. He's on his rear wheel to about 140mph... and do you see how it accelerates after both wheels are on the ground?! I wish I afford to get a car to accelerate like that ;)

| Actually it is real, the bike is turbo'd and the reason he is accelerating "slowly" to 140mph is because his wheel is off the ground, any more gas and it's pickup your skin off the highway time. With wheelie bars this bike would probably hit 200mph in about 20 seconds. Don't doubt power to weight man, it will kick your ass every time! |

| If thats a Turbo Busa then the speed looks very accurate. A stock Busa will do 180 mph no problem. The 1999 Busa was the fastest production bike ever made, top speed was 202 mph stock. then they clipped its wings because of the european market and limited it down to 180 mph. So that video is very accurate in the speed it is showing. |
