| Somebody told me that your allowed to be in the bus lane only if your making the next available right turn within one block. Is this true?? I can't afford another two demerits off my license... |

Yup - you can cut into the bus lane to make your right.
However ( I assume you got this on 97th street? ) anytime that I see them positioned to pull people over (Like into the crazyhorse/scotia parking lot) they are always right after an intersection, which means if you are in that lane it's because you came through the intersection in that lane. |

| yeah i got busted at the crazyhorse/scotia bank parking lot, is there any way i can get off this?? like i said, i can't afford another two demerits off my license... |

that might be hard... you will have to come up with a good reason on why you where there.
cause they would of seen you driving from pass the TimHorton's.... and you should of turned there.
you could say you came from Kenwood Ford... and tried to get in to that other lane but couldn't find a open spot. JUST A THOUGHT... |

Really tough to fight that one - I got one in the same place.
You have no reason to be there, and the cops know that, so that's why they park there. The ONLY way to get out of it is to plead your case (rush hour traffic, no one would let you in, etc.... Say you had to swerve into that lane to avoid a guy cutting into you, and then couldn't get back in) with the court and hope they are merciful.
If it's your first 2 demerits, don't worry. As I said - I had one of those 3 years ago, and it never really affected my insurance and I'm only 21. |
