Installing stuff in my gauge Bezels - Click HERE for Original Thread

WookeysRX7
Hey guys. I just bought some New face plates for my gauges and apperantly the just "slip" over the need and sit in place. My question was how hard is it to take out the whole gauge cluster and disconnect the speedo and everything without damaging anything back there. Anyone?

now
i assume its a 2nd gen
just take the screws out that hold the trim on pull out so you can
get your fingers behind and unplug the wires to the wiper and headlight
switches, then remove the screws that hold the gauges to the dash
pull it out and reach to the back and feel for the plugs there is a
lever you have to push to release the plug , then pull.
same for the speedo cable.
note
the plugs that go to the headlight and wiper switches have the little
thing that needs to be pushed in to release them.
