Hey guys..does anyone have any reccomendations for headers...for a H23? Im trying to plan out what i want to buy and then get it over winter

silverTEG
what location do you want your powerband?,

what exhaust do you run or plan on running?

dont just buy a header just because you think you need one, "one doesnt work without the other. size are very important. it called an exhaust system for a reason.

so if you dont have any mods now. plan out if you want a CAI or a SRI, a 4-2-1 or 4-1 header with a a 2" collector or a 2.5" collector, then decide what size of exhaust works best so you dont choke the flow ( too small in comparison to your cat) or too big and lose power.

eg. for a higher powerband. SRI, 4-1 header w/ 2.5" collector, 2.5" cat and 2.5" exhaust.

eg. for mid range powerband. CAI, 4-2-1 header w/ 2.5 " collector, 2.5 " cat and exhaust.

Speaking of headers, I maybe getting aftermarket headers sooner than I thought. I've received an email from a guy in Toronto offering me first crack at his MUGEN header

Ha ha, working in Fort Mac does have the advantage of extra income, however, I should be buying a ring for my g/f, not a Mugen header. :crying:
