DAMMIT!!!
ok... so i havent been out in awhile, a chick from work asks me to go out. So I head to pick her up.. drivin down memorial over crowchild, it goes from like 70 to 50 within 50ft then to 60km in like 100ft after that. So as i'm slowin down, I see a f@ckin flash behind me.. great.. im guessin I got a damn photo radar ticket... this night better be worth it. So we go down to a pub downtown, she ends up not feeling well, so I go to take her home. As I get to where my car should be.. there's nothing... :wtf:
So I give $$ for a cab, I walk over to a buddies house, about 45mins away. We go over to the impound lot.. and sure enough.. there's my car. I go in... $40 parking ticket for "parking in a taxi zone", a $7. entry fee, and a damn $60 lot fee... the damn towing cost me $104 after taxes!!! plus.. if I get this damn photo ticket in the mail... this night has cost me over $400!!!! I have no idea WTF im going to do.. I can't afford this shit... this is why I'm really beginning to hate this f@ckin city... they gouge you anyway possible.....

anyways... im going to bed.. i am royally pissed... but as I drove back by the radar van.. i gave the ol :thefinger:

s2oooR

I sorta knew that you could get a speeding ticket on a bike and I guess that kinda makes sense. But seriously, giving a stunting ticket to somebody on a mountain bike, that's going a little too far.

I think what schlong69 meant was a bike (not motorcycle though) is a vehicle under the Traffic Safety Act & its associated Regulations (as compared to a motor vehicle).

As far as Stunting ... any user of a highway can be charged w/ "Stunting". This includes, driver, passenger, pedestrian, rider, etc. Who'd a thunk it???

Jimbo ;)

Highway - "highway" means any thoroughfare, street, road, trail, avenue, parkway, driveway, viaduct, lane, alley, square, bridge, causeway, trestleway or other place or any part of any of them, whether publicly or privately owned, that the public is ordinarily entitled or permitted to use for the passage or parking of vehicles and includes:
- a sidewalk, including a boulevard adjacent to the sidewalk,
- if a ditch lies adjacent to and parallel with the roadway, the ditch, and
- if a highway right of way is contained between fences or between a fence and one side of the roadway, all the land between the fences, or all the land between the fence and the edge of the roadway, as the case may be, but
- does not include a place declared by regulation not to be a highway;

JIMBO- to the above... "BLAH"... too much wording... ;)
But on another note, got the ticket today... 68km in a 50zone. total price... $113.
I can live with that.. although I still dont agree that there was no warning.. it just jumped down to 50 and I was letting off the aceleration.. oh well. At least it wasnt $300.. :D

Now maybe some of you can understand the complexity of the laws we have to deal w/ on a normal everyday shift. I gotta agree though to some of it ... BLAH.
