What kind of asshole puts slicks and pizza cutters on a 350Z? That is so lame.

Must be nice to be loaded, the guy wasn't even mad.

superpirate25
:o Must be nice to be so rich that you can laugh about exploding your brand new engine.

g356gear sedan
375 hp NOS.....6th run blew up. Best time of 11.33 1/4 mile with slicks.
New short block from Nissan $4800.....new longblock $ 8500.....Yeah...expensive. :tear:

import_3000

HKSpowers
All he could say was "Ah Well" damn I wish I had money like that!!

SlowAzzPorsche911T
well shit happens, can't get all worked up about it, those new yorkers are a bit different, sounded like a new york accent anyways :P if he has 40K for a new 350Z and 5 for all those parts... he has enough to fix it

Mekanik22
How did he do that though? I sounded like he didn't over-rev it. Did he push some nitrous into the cylinder or what?

Nitrous is usually pushed into the cylinders :)

probly just too big of a shot, or not enough fuel, i dunno if the internals of that engine are very strong stock

that nos system looked crazy..

MiniMan
it happened when he was shifting... my guess is he shifted into first instead of third or 2nd instead of 4th... i didn't count.

Actually, most likely a mis-shift, tried to power shift to the next gear, didn't get the tranny into the next gear, engine went boom!

if the car had a rev limiter, wouldn't that have stopped it from over revving? would the rev limiter work with the clutch depressed? :dunno:

This car is highly modified with a shitload of nitrous spraying into the engine, I'm guessing that these guys have a computer program that removes the limiter.

2003specv
Rev limiter can't do shit if you let the clutch out in too low of a gear.

lol, never knew, good call chromey

g356gear sedan
375 hp shot of NOS :wtf:

BlueTurboEGG
Perhaps he missed a shift or something and revv-ed the crap out of the motor...

That or his NAAWWSSS shot was way too big and not tuned at all.

Someone hit him over the head with that connecting rod...
