Have you ever gotten out of a relationship, know that you need time before you move into your next serious one, but then you meet a person you're into but not sure if you should even date them in case you hurt them?

I've met people who are in this situation, and I just wanted some opinions on whether or not you think its selfish for people to go "hang out" or "date" people who want to get serious, but you don't, and though you've stated it, you guys are still really tight.

I've found that you can never break up without hating each other.  It's better to break up and hate each other, then to remain friends, b/c one person is ALWAYS on the short end.   I say cause conflict if you want to move on.

Are you asking if its ok to date someone after breaking up, or are you asking if you should date someone if you're not serious?

Sorry I'm just confused  <!--emo&???--><img src="http://asianet.ca/images/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'><!--endemo-->
