If you get a speeding ticket out of the province(in my case it was in BC last July), does that show up on your driving record, or do you just pay the fine and that's it?
Just wondering for insurance purposes.
Thanks! |

| im pretty sure speeding tickets stick with you for 3 years regardless where it happened. because it goes against your license number rather than plate and such. if you were pulled over it may affect your rate. if it was radar, than no demerits or anything just a fine. |

Damn, I got pulled over and I was just going down a hill with my foot off the throttle.
Can anyone else confirm this? |

| I got a ticket in august this year in BC and its just a fine. You pay the ticket and it doesn't go against your record. And it doesn't show up on a drivers abstract either......I checked just to make sure. |
